I've had fantastic results with Brembo kits on my motorcycle. No auto experience with them though.

good pads will help out more than a set of rotors and calipers that's basically overkill for a street driven vehicle. unless the calipers you get with the aftermarket kits have more pistons then performance would be negligible. the pretty, fancy ohh look at me rotors are good for nothing but looks. you might as well set your money on fire if you're going to buy those. at least you'd get a show.
