Engine start??

Engine start??

ok guys....friday i filled up my tank....got into the truck and turned the key.....engine didnt turn over....tried again...engine didnt turn over....thirds the charm....it turned over.

then tonight (saturday) it did it again....first 2 tries....no cigar....third it worked....

WHAT THE HELL IS UP?!?!

my truck did that for a while. Then i took it to the dealership and found out that it was mis firing and some of my plugs were dead. Not sure if that helps you or not. Is it idilingreally rough too?

dont know what to tell you then man. Damn those black and tan accented Lariat's and their starting problems lol. Take it to the dealership, they LOVE warranty work.

dont know what to tell you then man. Hopefully its nothing too complicated and wont cost that much to fix.

that shouldnt matter....the lift doesnt effect the starter or whatever is wrong..the warrenty should still apply....according to some law...forgot what it was called

Yeah that would be a good idea

also, i think it was the Maggnuson/Moss Warranty Act.
you might mention that to the dealer, and they might start working with you more

when you try and start the car does it come up with the check engine light or the check guages??

hmmm....you mean when it didnt turn over did it do that? if so...i dont remem....

yea when you turn the key all the way and it doesnt start. see what it tells you
