Something you should have checked out from the instant you wanted to mod your truck.....search the net for it, it'll give you some good info and backing when your service writer starts to give you chit about all your aftermarket mods.

TSB 05-19-1 MIL ON - VARIOUS DRIVEABILITY CONDITIONS - 5.4L 3-VALVE ENGINE - VEHICLES BUILT BEFORE 4/20/2005

This TSB addresses Hard start/long crank/cranks-no start , check if your truck was built prior to 4/20/2005. I guess after they hit the reefer that day they found out was was going on.

Good Luck!

TSB
06-19-14 NO CRANK / STARTER TERMINAL FATIGUE

Some vehicles may exhibit a no crank condition due to an open circuit in the starter relay to starter motor circuit at the starter motor connection.

A new starter terminal wiring pigtail kit is released eliminating the need to replace the entire harness for the terminal connection.

Stragum has that same issue and it has been in the shop several times. You might contact him and ask him what they have told him.

It should be covered. My dealership actually sells 150s with the Rize lift so they have to cover it.
