JLT intake

Anyone had any experience with the intake/tuner combo from JLT? http://jlttruecoldair.com/zencart/in...products_id=95

When I was still in the mustang crowd they were tested as the #1 intake for '05+ GT's but I know a truck is a different animal. I will be getting a blower early next year but I cant stand driving this thing stock and it wont be a waste of money because I will need the xcal with the blower anyways. So if anyone has had experience with this combo please let me know your thoughts. I know alot of people on here are all about the AF1 and troyer tunes and if the JLT doesnt get the go ahead then that is my next choice. What are you guys paying for intake/tune from troyer? thanks

I had one and liked it. I had bought it from Jusnes Modified. It sounds real good and gives a good performance gain. I am told that the tune that comes directly from jlt is better but I never tried that out. There is another thread floating around with dyno numbers and a/f ratio's that look real good.

thanks for the response-I searched on here and could not come up with anything. Are the shift points, firmness, etc changed in the provided tune or is this something that the user has to modify. thanks

Shift points/firmness etc is adjusted with the sct tuner. Here is a link to the dyno thread. Nevermind my comments in this thread as I assumed that I had the Jlt tune and I did not. Therefore I stated that I prefer the air force one and sct combo.
