Dome Light/Perimeter Lighting

I have a 07 F150 HD Supercrew and I just recently installed a Clifford 10.5 alarm. For some odd reason (must have forgot) the installer didn't wire the dome light. Can anyone tell me before I go back if the dome light activation also controls the perimeter lighting.

Thanks

Dome light MUST be turned on by using a negative signal to the Orange with Green Stripe wire behind the domelight/dimmer switch on your dash. A lot of installers tie the door trigger and dome light supervision together at the Black with Blue Stripe door trigger wire in the kick panel but on the F150 the dome light "times out" and will not work all the time this way. Thus the reason we connect to the turn on switch itself.

MAKE SURE THAT THE DOMELIGHT OUTPUT ON THE SYSTEM IS A NAGATIVE. IF NOT IT WILL BURN OUT THE SWITCH. TRUST ME I HAVE ACCIDENTLY DONE A FEW. At $60 a pop it really sucks.

The dome light is already working with keyless entry installed from the factory. I just want to know if I can also control it with the clifford alarm system remote and will it activate perimeter lighting which is already activated.

Thanks

Since you deal with electrical on these trucks, where is the best/easiest place to pick up a "hot all the time " for my ARE bed cover? I'm putting a mercury switch on the lid so it will automatically come on when lifted.

I don't have an answer for your question, but you should definetly post some pics of your truck!

I always grab power at the ignition which is Light Green with Violet Stripe.
