It has been a while since posting... I am looking at the silblade flexblades. Everyone that bought the silblades, did you get the regular, or the flexblades?

Seems they are holding up pretty well.

I know the flexblades will work best on cars with sloping windshields, but what about the F150's?

TIA for your reviews.

I can not believe that the factory wipers tore so soon. I just installed some Bosch from Pep Boys. They are working very well.

Silblades that I pulled from my traded 2001 (installed 03'ish) are on my 05' KR... still as good as the day I bought them. They're great wipers -- plus, they really back up their warranty (I know this because of experience).

I have the regular blades.

Just to add:

Valeo blades are rubber
Icon blades are rubber
Silblade Flexblade are silicone

Only diff I found. My PIAA silicone insert blades have lasted 3 years.

Mine tore also, pissed me off. I pick a pair of these up at a whole sale house for $12 each. I was a little sceptical but they work great, only had them for a week.

So far my Silblades have held up great...their seems to be one little spot that streaks a tad, but not a big deal. The only thing is I bought them online and didn't print a reciept. What happens if I need to exchange one?? I kept the original packages with the proof of purchase, but obviousely that doesn't have anything to do with proving when I bought them. Just a brain fart on my part I guess LOL.

I'm looking at the Valeo's on Tire Rack and they are buy one get one for the hook lock. Is that what the F-150 uses? I haven't had to replace mine yet, so I wasn't sure.

I know this string is older but for what its worth, I really like my trico neoform beam blades. They're really good snow blades and excellent rain blades.

That seems like a good deal. I still don't care for how the area under the swipe beads-up and the area outside of it doesn't though - you can always see the swipe pattern especially when it rains. I'm still very happy with my above mentioned neoforms but I'll admit, I do use glass treatment which gives the same affect as the silblades but beads the entire windshield rather than just the sweep area. Different strokes...
