~Stains~

Have any of you guys with cloth interiors had any tough stains that you were able to remove from the fabric? If so, what did you use?

Thanks in advance!

This has been beat to death, do a search and you will have days of reading. One person said steam cleaning worked, but what I did was scotch guard and that seemed to help. I have 2 small kids and a wife who for some reason needs to feed the kids in my truck when we go out. So she spills everything and I havent had a problem yet. Good luck.

A little vinegar,a little baking soda mixed with good ole H2O! Will work great on most things except grease.

Nothing will get the water stains out, these seats stain way too easily. The only solution: Get leather seats or buy covers, because you will drive youself crazy and probably make the stains worse.

Ford actually designed a material that can be stained by pure water, its amazing.

I use automotive carpet cleaner with the brush that it comes with and then hit it with the shop vac. Works pretty good IMO

I've used the Simple Green it works good. The last product I used was Hoover Spot & Stain Cleaner, picked it up at Lowe's. These 2 products have removed everything. Grease, water stains, ink, etc. It may take 2-3 cleanings per spot to remove it but it will come out. Don't use to much cleaner in one spot, you will wind up with a bigger water spot in that area. Once your seats are clean, Scotchguard them. It works. I finally got my seats all cleaned up and Scotchguarded them back around July 4. Guess what? No more stain on my seats.
