I wouldn't mind having to dig my truck out every morning and pull out the neigbors...snow is fun with the right mind. I had an absolute blast in Yosemite when it was pouring fresh snow...was a [slow] journey to get to our cabin...almost didn't make it...and nearly slid down into a Chevy avalanche I was tryin to pull...had bald tires on an incline :X

Unfortunately I have to drive an hour or so to get to snow. I am an hour from the beach, an hour from the mountains, an hour from everything...it's not too bad but I'd like a little snow!

I looked into the same thing for my F150 SCrew. Ford doesn't want you to plow with the Supercrew because of a payload issue. They say it is no good because they assume your truck could be filled with people too. You can plow with the SCrew, just don't fill the cab with people. You can't order a plow ready prep from Ford on a SCrew.

Plow site is good, but a lot of them think commercial as opposed to DIY. So they frown on the idea of you plowing your own driveway.

I spend QUITE a junk of change to have my driveway plowed when it snows. $35 each time! My driveway is about 400 feet long by 12 feet wide with a turnaround. It's about 50 feet wide at the mouth. Lots to plow and it keeps my pocketbook lighter when I have the plow guys do it. I've spent $1,000 over a winter to get rid of the frozen water.

Suburbanite or the Western Ultramount Midweight is what I am looking at.
