Rant: Listen To This Bs

So the girlfriend was getting out of my truck and slammed my door into her step-father's 2006 F-150 XL.

I've got two spots now on the edge of my door. One is a decent chip but the other one is more of a scratch than anything. Does anyone know "roughly" how much a body shop would charge to fix something like that?

I say if they're going to charge YOU out the a$$, then you should charge your GF out the a$$ (you being the benefactor, of course)

Heh, this is too funny (Well, it sucks, but you know what I mean). I've always been the same way with my trucks... I always had to train my GFs how to properly open and close a door, where to park (to stregically avoid dings), how to detail, etc.

One GF went 2.5 years doing GREAT with my Ranger, and one night as she ran up (galloping really) with her arms swinging to give me a hug (She was walking me to my truck to go home) she knicked the bed with the diamond ring I got her... it immediately went from happy and carefree to a look of terror on her face. She immediately started to well up and I just took her in my arms, told her its ok, gave her a kiss, and then got in my truck and left. I didn't even check the scratch till I got home. I felt so bad for her I couldn't do it, heh.

Turns out it was the only visible scratch on the truck after 3 years of owning it when it came time to sell it. Oh well... (Sad thing is she left me high and dry too )
