Lumadar, you set me up for this.

yea I knew that would sound a little funny but Its more like people dont realize that even resting the door on something will eff it up and leaning on it when you are wearing metal buttons will scratch it. Maybe they dont mind doin it to their car but it irritates me when they do it to mine or even when I see other people do it on other cars.

I bought a little bottle for a wide scratch/scuff on my rear bumper and it looks good from far away but once you get up close you can tell. Bascially its just good for getting everything the same color. Where are the scratches? Are they just on the edge or are the actually on the door?

The bottles are like 5 bucks or so or you could do the color rite pens like 20. If on the edge of the door do a little at a time until you build it up to match the curret or surrounding edges. Not hard to do just take patients for it iwll take more than one coat. Also see if they have a small clear bottle for over time it you do not protect it, then it will eventually wear down a little or at leat mine did. You could use the duplicolor clear, spray it in a cap and then use an artist brush if not to large.

Get a body shop to do it...they will touch it up and feather sand it to blend it in and it will be nearly impossible to find. It should cost $40-$60 to have them fix them (most shops will charge a min of an hour labor...so if you have another scratch or something get it fixed to and it probably wont cost anymore) but IMO it would be worth it on a new truck. Unless you really know what your doing you wont be satisfied with it if you do it yourself and it would be much harder for the shop to fix it then.

At least get an estimate before you try touching it up yourself.
