Question Black Headlights 04-07

Anyone have any of the black housing lights on a white truck, I'm kinda curious how it would look...

I've seen the FX-2 truck in white but when I got up close the lights were a choarcoal color and have lines or ridges running horizontal in them...

It would look like it would have two black eyes. Buy some LT handles if you are looking for something to do to your truck.

boy you are brand new to this site and you think you know everything? (based on this post on and your harley rims post...)

Actually, the harley replica headlights were out about 10 months before the actual Ford harley lights were available.

The replicas are made by DEPO and you're taking your chances if you buy them because some of them leak water. Mine leaked after a year of use, now I have the OEM Ford ones. You can add an extra bead of silicone on them to help prevent that though. Oh and your price on that website is a little high, you can get the replicas on ebay for around $150.

And based on your pictures, I don't think they would look good on your truck because you have the chrome bumpers. If your truck was monochrome (all white), then it would look ok.

Never once did I claim to know everything, but I don't like being called out on something I know is false.

And where on this thread did I act like I know everything, as a matter of fact everything was A-OK until your post...

I already have the new front/rear bumpers paintable as well as the flares, ready to go to paint...

So I think I will try my chances on the look with the white truck...

at the time, I had some extra stock lights sent out to a shop in California and had them smoked out. They did a great job on them. But the light output is cut down some, especially the reverse lights. Combined with window tint, it made it hard to see when backing up. So I sold them and went with the Harley tails instaed. But I do miss them and wish I would have just kept them.

This is the ebay vendor I dealt with and he is actually selling some smoked lights right now: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-06...spagenameZWDVW

Or you can get VHT Nite Shades spray tint and do the lights yourself for around $15.

Or you can get window tint film that is already cutout to fit the tail lights and the film kit costs about $40 on ebay.

Email me if you have anymore questions.

sorry, my bad G. but $9k retail for Harley rims and tires...c'mon man...you can get the Pirelli 22" tires for only $220 a piece on tirerack.com

if you're getting everything painted all white, then the black lights should look fine.

Are you painting the stock bumper or a different one. If so what kind is it?
