Hmm, I found 17 threads that had "Edge problem" in the title in less than year. Found 3 with XCAL 2 in more than a years time.

No Edge for me thank you.

If you are going to get a level kit get the AutoSpring for sure!

Yup and most of the people had errors due to not reading directions. .

How much difference in overall height will there be between the 2.5" and 2" spacers?

Could someone maybe direct me to some comparison pictures?
Very small difference between the 2. I have the 2 and I am very happy with it.

1/2" it just spaces the spring so whatever the spacer is will be your amount of lift.

Keep in mind though this is just like many of us back in the day that did torsion lifts to clear bigger tires it will wear all the parts quicker (ball joints mainly). Also the bump stops remain in the same spot so you are limiting your amount of droop or downtravel and interfering with the trucks ability to drop a tire into holes or uneven parts of the road. It will stiffen up the ride and also wear CV's at a much quicker rate. Esp if you use your truck in 4wd alot and put alot of strain on these parts. A Cv that is already at an angle from a lift then turned to full lock with alot of stress on it wont last too long

So....

I did a whole lotta reading and I can't find too many issues with people using the plastic polymer 2.5" spacers. Seems there are the same amount of problems with the 2" as with the 2.5" plastic spacers actually. I talked to the owner of the truck performance store about it and he told me to try using the 2.5" and see how I like them. He said if I had any problems within a few months I could bring my truck back and he'd switch them for some 2" ones free of charge. I think that sounds reasonable.

I really like doing business with private and family owned places.

Just my .02

I have the 2.5" autospring and have driven over 25,000 miles since I installed it. I recently took my truck in for a front end alignment before having my new tires mounted. I specifically asked the tech to check my tie rods and ball joints because I suspected that they might be going causing my truck to slip out of alignment. The technician said that all of my suspension is as tight as the day that I bought it. He aligned my front end which has held the alignment up till now which would not happen if I had bad components.

FWIW I just got my Edge Evo from discountpowerparts.com for which I paid $317.00 including shipping. They were having a sale last week. I had a problem with the programmer reading my PCM initially, but after one phone call to the support staff everything was fixed and I was good to go. I especially like the display function that allows me to monitor in real time nearly all aspects of my engine, transission, and fuel usage.
