Hey guys...well i plan on painting my fender flares red and think the black handles will look out of place. How do you guys think the chrome door handle covers and the mirror cap look?

Why not just get LT handles and paint your mirrors completely red? . . or just paint your handles completely red as well?

 

I'd go for the red mirrors and flares but leave the handles as is, nice contrast.

I know painting the LT handles was the best thing I did, my mom thought I was nuts wanting to paint my handles red until she saw them on the truck. I also made sure to get the rear handles from the screw so I didn't have to look at a keyhole
red monotone is the way to go

 

I still think the lt handles with red mirror cap would be sharp.

 

I think you need alittle contrast, all red is too much in my opinion.

The all red mirrors look a little much to me. I would go with the chrome, or just leave them. Your trim/windows/mirror area is all black. You dont want to break up that pattern in my opinion, mainly cause the mirrors are so big. Red just stands out too much on something that large. JMO

 

Paint the fender flares and buckets/handles but leave the mirrors alone.

 

LT handles. Paint the bottom of the mirrors red, leave the mounting base black and use the chrome uppers on them. Leave the flares black. That way you have a nice contrast of all the colors

 

I wouldnt paint your fenders. The black adds great contrast and I would also lose the mud flaps.

 

I misunderstood the pictures and what you wanted red, sorry about that. I would do the lt handles, and paint the flares and do the chrome mirror clip. Thta will look really good IMO.

 

IMO Since you dont have any chrome on your truck, other than your wheels, I would go for solid red, if your bumpers were chrome then id say go chrome..

 

I really like the look of mine, and once I get a moment, I'll put on the painted fender flares. They've been collecting dust since May.

I went with the fully painted mirrors, LT handles with Chrome latch, and fully painted fender flares. The chrome latch on the LT handles flows with the F150 or Mark LT emblem.

 

Another vote for all red.

What are you going to do about your mud guards?

You will be in the same situation I am in, I am about to paint my fender flares all silver and am unsure about my mud guards.

I am leaning toward painting the mud guards silver and leaving the bottom half of the mud guard black.
