HID's in!!!!!!!!

Ok so my 6k (a little too blue should have went 5k) 9005 hid came in last night and I got them put in without the relay kit. The bulbs didnt go right in the tabs were a little off but nothing a little trimming couldnt fix. I know everyone is going to ask for pics and i am sorry to say I dont have a working cam right now so when I get one Ill be sure to post pics of all my recient stuff like full system and HID's. I will not buy another car without them. I highly recomend eveyone getting them and like I said the best thing I have done to my truck and my silverstars cant touch them. One question though I didnt change my fuse size and I have started them maybe 10 times allready and still havnt blown the stock fuse, is it possiable my truck doenst have a fog light fuse or do my balast just not pull all that much? I am sorta worried being how there was this big write up on using a relay to save my wiring.

ZERO problems out of mine for the past week.

The bulbs will fit in there... you just have to tweak them to the side slightly as you insert them into the hole. I struggled with one of mine but finally got them in -- no trimming (although I was one step away from breaking out the dremmel.

You have to have a fog light fuse. You're simply not pulling enough to pop it. I plan on running my stock fuse until it blows... if it blows, I'll jump up to a 20A. If that blows, then I'm wiring in relays.

I'm VERY pleased with my HID kit as well. It really looks killer... and the light just keeps going. I realized how much I missed my Xenarcs once I got these running.

Now, if Saleen will hurry up with their set... I'll be in bidnuss...

I got them for 186 which I am sorta regretting getting the cheap ones because the guy I got them from when out of business right after I got them so I am figuring his 2 year warrenty isnt good for anyting.

Like photography or any other optical field, you get what you pay for with HIDs.
There are so many Chinesse manufacturers out there whipping out HID Kits, this is why the prices are so low but the quality and lifespans are low as well.
We hope that your kits live a long time without problems, but the track history on cheap kits isnt a good one.

But forget that, lets see pictures of the output and beam pattern.

Im gonna be retrofitting TSH projectors in my foglamps later this year for quad beam HIDs.
