Do normal cops know about it?
Considering that several are members of this site, I'm betting yes.

Do they care? I don't think so. Maybe a couple, but I'd take my chances.

The good thing is that you can go back to stock a few days before your testing and remove the EDGE and reinstall after the emissions test.

edge and gauge display

does your Engine Oil Temp work on your edge evolution tuner? I never got mine to work so I changed it. Is something potentially wrong with mine cuz it doesn't work? I just assumed there was no EOT sensor in the computer so it didn't work. let me know whats going on.

It got to about 96 degrees yesterday and while driving to work on the highway, my truck started to shudder. when I lifted off the gas, the shudder when away. When I pushed on the gas, the shudder was horrible. When I floored it, it went away. I was going from 60-70. I thought the level 3 shudder was from 70-75 and was not too bad, yesterday it was really bad. I went back to level 2 2+ on the timing. Anybody heard of this horrible shuddering. I thought it might be the engine or something but no codes. Weird.

It dose not work on mine. I emailed Edge about it and the sent me back a reply just yesterday. This is what he wrote:

Eric,
I received an Email back from the engineer. He states that on some 4.6L trucks they don't have the capability to read EOT. This is normal. It doesn't hurt anything if it doesn't read on your truck. Just let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,

Kenny G.
