Ambient temp readout ...question

Where is the outside ambient temperature sensor located on a 2004 FX4 SC? My temp readout is consitently off by 10-12 degrees. I knowit is minor, but the little things drive me nuts.

if you temp is off and changes too slowely there is a reflash for the 2004 that will fix the problem. I had that problem when I first got my truck took it to the dealer got a reflash and fixed it right up.

Its mounted in front of the rad on the metal bracket in plain site. Remove it and check resistance with an ohm meter. at 65-80F it should read 8000-14000 ohms. If not, it is shot.
