Think this doesn't work? I use a similar system on the amber light bars we use on our fleet of snow plow trucks. I have three layers of identification on them. When two suddenly disappeared last winter, we started looking. About a week later, I saw one on a truck parked at a construction site. (It was very obviously ours.) I called the police, explained to the officer how I could verify it was ours, then we confronted the driver. When he pulled that light off and turned it over - only to find exactly the marks I had promised - it was priceless! Can you say "busted!" An ounce of prevention ....
