I just bought my first "new" Ford....

I've owned a 1996 Ranger 2.3, and for the best single week of my life (long story...), I owned a 69 Mustang, but at 29 years old, I finally bought my first new truck...

2006 Lariat, 4X4, all the stuff you would get with it being 4X4, and a few other options...

I'm looking to raise it. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

After these pictures were taken, I took the pin stripes off..

Very nice truck. If you're looking to raise it there are many lifted black trucks. Kickassfx4 has a lifted supercab fx4 on 35" open country's. Where are you located (if it's in your profile I'll see it in a sec). Beautiful truck btw. Did you pay for the pinstriping, I had an all brawns no brain buddy who paid $500 for pinstriping he didn't even want, f'in idiot.

nice truck. It is hard to spend the money on a new truck. especially since the price drops once you rool off the lot. but its worth it.
about the lift there are 2" leveling, 3" 4" 6" 8" suspension, and lots pf tires and wheels

Right now, all I'm looking to do is level it. If anyone can help, that would be great. In the fututre I want to do a 3" suspension lift, and put a brush guard on the front...also if my budget let's me, I want to put 36" tires on it.

Can you guys help??

Cheers,
Duston

Hey bud, great choice on the truck... To level it the biggest tires you can clear are some skinny 35's on OEM stock rims, or if you wanted you could go with a 6 and clear 35's possibly 36's with minor rubbing, or you could go with the rize and 37's which is Clean (check out thumper's truck im sure he'll post sometime soon) theres only about 5000 different combinations you could go with, just let us know what you want, well let you know if it will work and get it goin.... CONGRATS!!!

Ah!

I love your new truck, and I hope that you do to.

Heh, I still have a 95 Ford Ranger, ext cab, 2wd 4cyl 5-Speed. Please tell us why yours only lasted a week? Mines been through hell and back, and I have had it a little over 3 years now. That thing has taken quite a beating, over and over, and over again.

Ha! I had a PINK pin stipe on my black '97 reg cab. I always suspected the previous owner.

Anywho, nice truck. If you are looking to just level it out, I suggest an AS 2 inch spacer with the offset. The offset design will eliminate the UCA-coil contact that plagues leveling kits in general. You can get a 35 inch tire in there, but that's about it as stated before.
