But if you want boat pics now, I'll have to take some with the 12 ft Jon Boat in the back of the truck.

bad *** truck man, good to see more students around I know there are a few on here besides us... p.s. might want to think of going with a suspension lift, or your going to be replacing your ball joints all the time man...

I'm not going to run a suspension lift, because I can't afford it right now. But I will definitely have to keep checking for wear and tear on suspeension parts. I've heard after 25,000 it's time to replace. (Rough Estimate) I really don't offroad much, but the roads around here are really rough.

Yes, it does have a leveling kit.(Daystar 2.5)

Sorry no pictures of suspension angles, if I can remember I will take some for you all. The angles are pushing the limits, and the ride is pretty rough compared to stock, and I even have the bilsteins on. It costs to play. Once I wear these parts out, the level and the add a leafs will probably come out.

Thanks for the comments, keep them coming.

you know if you would switch to a 1.5 inch or maybe even a 2 inch your angles would be alot better and you could still keep your ride height and your parts would last longer(I.E. ball joints) (would probably ride better also)

i have the 2.5" AS, but i really don't want any more lift than that, however, when you look at the 3" lifts from lets say, skyjacker, they don't come with anything that would help the angles you're speaking of.

do you think skyjacker's would cause less wear and tear on your ball joints?

No, hes saying with that much lift you need a new crossmember to get some factory CV, UCA/LCA, and tie rod angles.

No, the Skyjacker would be MUCH worse.

I've thought about swapping it out for the smallest autospring, but I can't justify spending any more money right now. Money's tight with school, I know daystar is a popular kit. Thumper I know that your joints were bad on your last truck, but how was the ride quality? Everyone says that these levels keep the stock ride, but I disagree.

My ride was fine, a LITTLE bit firmer but it was actually good.

I think my ride started getting worse as the ball joints got worse.

My ride is smooth on the highway, but if I hit some bumps my truck starts bouncing, almost like it wants to hop. I know it sounds crazy, but that's the only way I can think to describe it. It has felt like this ever since I did the level, wheels, tires, and bilsteins. Very rough.

Where is your air pressure set at?

I had the same exact set-up minus the Bilsteins on my last truck and didn't have that problem. It sounds like the tires are over-inflated.

No, thats not the problem.

Thats odd, the only other guess is the Bilsteins. . unless you've had this set-up long enough for the ball joints to start to wear.

The bilsteins are my guess too. I really don't know what else it could be. Plus it didn't help I went from a stock 4x4 with the 235 70 17 tires to such an extreme change all at once. But I am happy with the results, and your first truck actually made me purchase my Helos and set my truck up the way I did.

By the way, your new truck is sweet, and I would say the top F150 on the site in my opinion. Thanks for the help.
