Questions about molded splash guards...

Hey guys I have a couple more questions about the Ford molded splash guards.

1. Will the Ford molded splash guards fit the front of a flareside?

2. If I decided to move up to Ford Pirelli 20" tires and rims will there be any problems with the molded splash guards? Will I have to remove them?

I ordered the flat ones and they just don't look right on the truck to me. They stick out to far on each side.

I am thinking of exchanging the flat ones for the molded ones today.

Thank guys.

1. Yes, Ford has molded splash guards to fit the flareside.

2. The Ford 20” wheels and tires should not affect the molded splash guards. The tire diameter on Ford’s 20” wheels and tires are nearly identical to the tire diameter on their 18” wheels and tires.

The factory 20's are 275/55/20 and that calculates to 31.9" tall.
The factory 18's are 275/65/18 and that calculates to 32.07" tall.
The difference is .17 of an inch, so it will be no problem, you will actually have more room with the 20's. Also, if your speedometer is calibrated for the 18's (which i know its not, you had 17's before) and you switch to the 20's your speedometer will read .52% high. This goes for your speedometer and your odometer.

im glad you went with the husky ones! i own a set of these and they fit better and seem WAY better quality than the oem ones. i have had them on for about a thousand miles now and they have taken there fair share of abuse and still look brand new. i have 33s and there is plenty of clearance, even when there packed in mud

I have the Husky ones as well and like them very much. I did have to trim about a 1/4 inch off for my 285/70/17's.
