$3000+ in damage.

I was hit in the same spot on my previous truck. Luckily i found out who did it.

I'm at about $2000 for repairs. I do have a name now. Plus, it's a felony to leave the scene of an accident in Nebr... hehehe I'm gonna crap in someone's corn flakes I think.

DO NOT buy the sob stories! You will get sc***ed!
I work for the DMV in one of the southern states.You would not believe some of the bs stories on reports. If all else fails let your insurance sue them under the underinsured motorist portion of your policy.
Just my $.02 ramblings.

I manage a body shop and I see this stuff everyday, same story....."Oh don't call the cops, I'll pay for it!!" Until they see the $2000+ estimate, then they'll start BSing you around. If you have to, turn it in under your collision and pay your deductible. When your insurance company sues the guy (and they will) they will reimburse you your deductible in full.

i agree i used to be a painter and this stuff happened all the time..

Did a little 'drive by' That POS light blue bronco duex was parked out in front of his shanty. I just have to wait to talk to the investigator tomorrow... Works the 2-10pm shift. Grrrrrr. I want to nail this guy, but I gotta do it by the book...
