I'm looking to put a block heater on my truck for the winter but not sure which type is better or should I just go with the one ford offers.It gets cold in Rhode Island in the winter and I'd like to try and preserve engine life.Thanks in advance for help if any.

 

Use a 0w-20 oil as well. But i would only use the ford block heater myself.

 

ur truck prolly has one....take a good look under the front. they tuck them really good.
