No garage, I have wanted to build one.... do have a workshop in the back yard with a few basic amenities... 220 wired with air comp, heat, a/c, cable tv, phone... works for me, just not big enough to drive anything in to work on it.....
just got a double carport in the spring and got the driveway paved about a month ago..... carport is nice, but hard to see under it as far as detailed work..... maybe i'll wire some lights under it soon, then I may have something going on.....

But nothing beats a Heated Garage in the winter....

Hi.

Beautiful job !

Hope my woodshop special turns out as nicely ! I plan on running the loom to the fans from below so it won't be as visible.

(There's also this OEM trick of extra holes with rubber flaps. The reasoning is, while in motion air blows through those openings as well as the fan openings for a little extra flow. When the fans kick in, the flaps are sucked closed so there is no issue of affecting draw thru the rad. My T/A LT1 is configured this way.)

Cheers
Bubba

Very nicely done!

Do yourself a favor though and check the mount areas on both rad tanks periodically. Since you made yours from CRS, I'd be concerned about the weight causing stress cracks in the tank brackets.

Hey! Another advantage for marine grade plywood - being a laminated/crossgrain material, it's not prone to this - just to catching fire

Cheers

Will do Eric,
I don't think CRS 16Ga. is too much heaver than Alum... it was at 6.5 lbs, if out of Alum. would be 3.5 to 4.0 lbs I would guess... I wanted to have it fabed in Alum, but shop want 100.00 more for Alum, I could not see it....
anyway, I check it from time to time...

Thanks Eric for the drawings, this nice of a shroud would not have been possible without your help....
