E-Fan Shroud, Finally
hmm im gonna guess that the fans are going to be on more then with out the shroud, that shroud will restrict the air flow from normal driving, so it will be hotter but the fans will just turn on to keep it cool.......

The shroud looks great.I'm looking to have something similar made up for my Efans.I haven't installed my Efans from the GP yet either.
Hey F150Truck'in ,Approximately how much does the shroud weigh?

I'll second the request for dimensions. I installed the Troyer dual e-fans about 2 years ago and did notice a seat-of-the-pants performance improvement. I did, however, also notice that in the summer months that idling with the AC on the temp gauge would start to rise in about 10 minutes and would probably peg out if the AC was not cut off and you started moving to get air flowing. Any other time I never had a problem. I always figured that the fans, mounted directly to the core, were obviously not pulling air through the entire surface area of the fan. I always wanted to get a shroud made like you did in an attempt to prevent the overheating condition.
Again, I would appreciate it if you would post the dimensions for us. Thanks!

Ok, I have permission and will Email the zip file to any member that wants it...
so PM or email me your info...
This is the Fan Shroud that was designed by member "ericd".. its a super nice shroud...
as far as weight, in 16GA CR Steel.. it right at 6.5 lbs.. with the two 15.5 fan cutouts... it more of a shroud frame.. after I paint it and mount the fans, I'll weight it again....

I'll take a copy of the dimensions if you don't mind. I'm waiting for Jusnes to send me ALL the parts so I may be able to get something like that made while I wait. Are the CAD drawings *.dwg? If so you can email that file I've got AutoCAD as well as a few other programs that can open .dwgs.
Email's in the profile.
Thanks,

Updated Pics, Ready to Mount....
Heres some pics where I just finished mounting the fans to the shroud after priming and painting flat black.... looking great..
It weighs in at 16.6 lbs finished...

Looks good. But don't plan on running one fan at a single time because you will just be sucking air out of the fan that isnt running and not pulling any air through the rad. Most times people have a plate splitting up the fans just for that reason.
