Auto Leveling Kit PROBLEM

I just picked up my 2006 f150 crew from the ford service shop after having them install a 2' autospring leveling kit. The truck appears to be just a tad bit higher in the front.

The big problem is that i chose the 2" over the 2.5" because I am adding a topper and storage in the bed. Once this additional weight is added I will definitely be higher in the front that in the back.

Is the 2" autospring adjustable at all, would this situation be cause by the installer? What can I do?

have you had it aligned yet? mine was a bit higher for the first day (ive got a 2.5") and then it has settled to dead even now
they are not adjustable.

The shop aligned the truck after installing the leveling kit.

I have the AS 2.0" kit installed in my '05 and it sits pretty level, maybe even slightly lower in the front.

I don't know that there is anything that the installer could have done to cause your situation. Probably just the differences from one vehicle to the next and from one kit to the next. Also as BalogUK stated, it may settle down a little over a short period of time.

Get an add a leaf kit, it'll raise the back end up just a bit for the topper.

I installed a 2" Auto Spring kit in my 06 scab and it sits almost level but a tad lower in front as well.
Like you said"it could be the difference from one vehicle to the next".Because the spacers only fit on the strut one way, therefore you can't install them wrong.

I second the add-a-leaf suggestion. But first I'd go toss it around off road and see if it settles any.

A third here. I installed the 2" AS on my truck and it was higher in front by 3/4" so I got a 1.5" aal and installed it, now the rear is slightly higher than the front. It won't matter soon for me, I am going to be removing them both and lowering it instead. I know, what an idiot, function is fine but I just don't like the look.

Do you have a 2wd or 4x4, if you have a 2wd you can always just add a factory 2" block to the back, but if its a 4x4 the AAL is the way to go..

I would, but they're still on the truck, and you're in Vegas. It'll be a few months before the big switch, but it's always a good idea to prepare in advance.

If the truck is new the front will settle in a week or two.
