As for the tires, I haven't looked at anything more agressive since my offroading will be limited to prolly what we did at Paragon where I feel my stockers did rather well, and the fact that 90% of my driving is highway. I've said it before, and some will hate me for this(you included..lol) but I want to lift it more for the look than going offroad. I know that makes no sense to some, but its something Ive been wanting to do my whole life and am in a position now to be able to afford it, without eating hot dogs and beans for the next 6 months You said to get away from the roller skate look, I will need a different lift..the only one I know that doesnt increase the track width is the Rize....is there another one you suggest?

There are many lifts that don't increase track width, in fact the Rancho does not of which we spoke about earlier (from what I remember). Increasing front track width is not typical, kits aimed at the Prerunner stance typically do this for numerous reasons...both have their pro's and con's. I don't think it will look terrible, 5.5" of backspacing is tucked in pretty close on it's own so you shouldn't be worried.

I understand you Brew and it's your hard earned money, I would never tell you what to do with it and I hope I've helped you decide. It's going to look great either way.

I recently got the pro comp lift put on ive had it for a month, i am extremely happy with it, the looks the performance and also *it does not increase track width at all* the only thing is, when you get the kit put on your either going to have to go with either the 5 inch fabtech block or an add a leaf, i personally went with the add a leaf and am one happy guy.

BestNTx..do you have any pictures from the front? I'd like to see what it looks like and how much the wheels stick out.

Ok, so lets say I change my mind and go with a different lift, will these tires and wheels still work on a lift that does not increase the track width?

OR...am I just driving myself crazy for no reason

Keep in mind i have 20x10 moto metals which have 4.5 inch back spacing and i believe your going with the maxx 6's which have 5 inches back spacing and are 9 inches wide which means you should be able to subract about an 1.5 inches off of the looks of mine to see how far yours would stick out... (i believe)

Ahh, thats right, you did have the Helo's. So did the Rancho increase your track width? How far did your 35's stick out? The Rize is nice I guess, but I cant justify all that money for what im gonna use it for.

Im not positive but I do believe that Rancho does increase track width.

I'd say no more than these tires stick out on my new truck, its that close.

It's also a lot of money to drop if the truck is going to be the old body style in a year or so. How much do you figure it will cost you and do you think it is worth it? I've already spent about $5k on mods which is really quite rediculous when I think about it.

I'm not sure how much its all going to cost. I have some friends in different areas of the auto industry and they are all getting me prices on the stuff I need.

As far as it being an old body style in 2 years,,Oh well. My plan as of today is to keep the truck until its paid off and then some. So anything I do to it, will be well worth it.

Now, is it worth putting all these mods on? Thats, as they say "in the eye of the beholder" Am I lifting it to try to get more money for it..NO. I'm lifting it because its something I want to to do for me. So to me, yes, it is worth it. Thats why I'm asking for some help here. I'll be the first one to tell you I'm no expert when it comes to lifting trucks, therefore I'm hoping with the help of everyone here, I will make the right decisions and be happy with the outcome.

Here's my suggestion from earlier in the thread on a different lift that won't increase track width.
