Question for guys with Roush suspension

I am looking at 22" x 9 wheels with either a 305/40 or 45 Nitto or Toyo tire. The stocker will only be on for 2-3 months after the suspension drop.

Styxnpicks, what lowering kit do you have?
*nevermind, I checked your sig.*

and the stance i want

now im just showing off

i need to get some new pics i havnt taken any since the lowering shackles to get the 5" drop
i actually weighed the ar 22's and the stockers......10lbs more
Daaaaaaaaaamn Slam Master J. Nice photochop. I dont want to be in the weeds. If I can get a solid 2/4(w/shackles help if need be) and better handling with the Roush I will be happy. Nice pics , thanks.
I've been real happy with the Roush suspension. I would love to have the rear end sit an extra 2" lower just to even things out, but I think that would start compromising the ride quality. I left my 4X4 blocks in, and might take them out just to take a look at the ride height next summer. I've also wanted to install a rear sway bar, but I haven't because of the posts I've read from issues with them fitting due to rear exhaust pipes being in the way.
As for towing, I've towed 7,000 pounds over the worst frost heaves this side of Siberia and didn't bottom out hard enough to feel it. I noticed some scuffing from the rear bump stops though, so it has the ability to bottom out, but I doubt you will ever tow on roads like what I drove up. There was a truck towing a travel trailer and they went down into a frost heave and the hitch caught, flipping the trailer and then the truck.
Now for the pics... stock 4X4 height vs. lowered height...

yes, the spoiler has been repainted.

I have the Ground Force 2/4 drop with replacement springs and shocks and I am very happy with its handling and stance. I also have the Hellwig rear swaybar that I still need to modify the end links just a tad to make it perfect. I tow a 6000lb boat with no problems. I was thinking of the Roush setup but for 200 less than the Roush I was able to get the Ground Force and the Hellwig rear sway bar. Just another option to look at.

And I've loaded the bed up quite a bit this summer while building my house. Who needs a long bed?

Good looking truck.

Also, if you are getting the kit installed, you might want to inform the installers that they don't have to drop the gas tank to get the stock leaf spring bolts out. They can zip them off and replace them. The way they are installed from the factory, the bolt comes out on the inside, so to pull it all the way out you have to move the gas tank. You can re-install new bolts with the nut on the gas tank side (inside) after the install to keep from having to deal with that again. We dropped the gas tank and a couple of months later I read a post on here where somebody just cut the bolt and installed new. That would of been a whole lot easier.
Thanks for the compliments on the truck, I think you would be ashamed of me with how dirty it is inside and out from working on the house.
Good luck with yours, can't wait to see it!
A bunch of you guys must be buying this Roush stuff. My son works for Roush in Livonia,Mi and is putting in 50-60 hours a week with a lot of those hours spent machining parts for those kits, along with some prototype work, and parts for airplane restoration projects.
Roush has a plant where they do the upgrades on the F-150's and Mustangs and last week I drove by and they must of had 500 vehicles parked around there waiting to be worked on. With a steady drumbeat of bad news coming daily in Michigan, I must say Roush does do quite a bit of hiring.

I'm really not sure though. One thing I noticed is the front didn't seem to be that much lower when I installed the front coils. They did settle down over time though and I could easily see the drop after a couple of weeks.
