You might want to remove all that, good story but some square on 24's is **** about obeying traffic law and takes it upon himself to uphold them. The 360 on the freeway is a little crazy, we could have squished that pt cruiser. Whose car was it? I've raced a 645i against a buddy's modded RegCab Chevy 5.3. That was a pointless race, his truck almost stood still but was fun to finally beat the reg cab 5.3's (I've raced another buddy on 22's in a reg cab and never could beat him, even after all my mods). You didn't get reckless driving did you?

Edit: removed the quote.

When I got my tint done here in PA he told me no tint was allowed on the front windows, rear windows yo ca paint black if you want. I took the safe route and just got 35 without the receipt.

Devin that ticket for the tire is total BS. I work in downtown Pittsburgh and see half a dozen cars, Escalades, Yukons, Hummers and other ghetto rides a day on smoke breaks with half the tire stickin out. City cops are 3/4 blind unless they're called. Local cops vary, some are just out to hassle everyone. It is a state law, but I've only heard of very, very few people gettin nailed. Most were guys whose bumpers were too high years ago during the Bigfoot craze.

sorry about getting pulled over, thats never fun... but having darker than allowed tint is pretty serious, especially for police officers. Imagine if your life was in danger (police officer making a routine traffic stop)... coming up to a car and not being able to see inside, then bang. Theres reasons for the law.

true thats another reason to roll down all your windows, not just to not raise attention to the tint, but to make them feel at ease

Thats what I always do. Roll down both fronts when I get pulled. I dont feel like some nervous cop drawin down on me cause he cannot see anything.

[QUOTE=ThumperMX113]Good thing or you'd be posting from the jail cell.

I've had a couple buddies get pulled for the windshield being tinted and it was a $100 dollar ticket or so.

I've never been pulled over for tint specifically, but every time I've been pulled over for speeding and I have "suspect" tint I just roll the windows down, that way there's no add-on tickets.

I still feel like i was singled out...i know of three other vehicles at my school two of which are red ford rangers with darker tint even on the windshield. Also know a toyota tacoma lifted with the tires sticking out and darker tint than mine. Looks like im the guiney pig for the school..Funny thing is..everyone had their windows down today on the way out even though its cool out.
Might get it taken off and put 35% on.

Removing Window Tint

Alright well i guess i'll take the tint off soon....how can it be done? I've heard aceton, hair dryer and razorblades all work. What is the safest way to take off the tint? thanks

Ususally the tint shop will pull the tint for free. That way you don't get a huge mess on your hands.

They might also re-tint for you afterwards at a discounted price if you're a return customer.

Smooth talking does help out sometimes.
