Silverstar Headlight Question

My foglights were in last week, but my headlights just came in yesterday. When I got them they were in a little different packaging then what my fogs came in. It almost looked like they were repackaged or something. They put a new temporary bar code over where it was supposed to say the numbers.

The bulbs say they are the H13STBP (What does the BP stand for?) Is it the same bulbs that everyone else is getting. It was a two bulb pack, and when they gave me the bill it was only for $26.00. They are in a silverstar package, but the price and the BP on the serial code is fooling me.

Did I get the right bulbs?

Yeah, when he said $26.00 I thought I'll take them now and return later if I need to exchange them. LOL

I only noticed the blue tint (sort of like an iridium tint) on the SS fog lights; not on the H13ST's.

The foglights sort of have that oily look of rainbow color, and the headlights just have the slight blue tint too them.

With everyone getting these new bulbs, I figured I could get a least a few more responses.

Mine only said H13ST. I did not see any with a BP on them. Also the headlamp bulbs looked exactly like the foglight bulbs only larger. They are a light blue tint with a silver painted tip.

were two in a pack or were they separate...the Blisterpack, should have had both bulbs in it.. H13ST is a single bulb... H13STBP should be two bulbs

All I know is that H13ST is still not a valid part number at Advance. That should be the correct part number.

I have no idea what the "H13STBP" you ordered are. There is nothing remotely resembling that model number on Sylvania's webpage [LINK]

You can always drop Sylvania a direct line and ask them [LINK] & [LINK]

I have the H13ST in my heads and the 9145ST down below and am amazed at the difference from stock. I didn't go the 9005ST for the fogs because a Sylvania rep told me they were high-beam replacement bulbs and would have a very short life span in the fog housing. Especially if you drive with them always on with the headlights like I do.

Let us know what happens.

Good luck.

My foglights came seperate and they have a light blue/oily color. The headlights came together and they only have the light blue color. The numbers that are stamped on the bulbs housing in the package say they are the correct bulbs. I will be installing them tomorrow night, so I'll let you know how it goes.

Thanks for all the help,
