I'm getting ready to purchase the edge evolution programmer for my 04 fx4 and had a couple questions about it. First, what color is the mounting pod that comes with it. I havn't been able to find anywhere that tells. My dash is black and silver. Is it just something that you paint? Also, will this programmer help with my horrible throttle lag? And will it kill my gas milage? Thanks guys.

 

The pod is black. Should go fine with your interior. It will solve the lag issue. My Edge has resulted in about 1 mpg improvement, local driving, even with me getting on it more often. Just have to feel the rush! I have not had it on the highway since getting it but I expect to get better mileage.

 

How much did you pay for your edge and where did you get it if you dont mind me asking. I found it for 345 shipped on ebay but ebay is always a little skeptical for me

 

I got it from www.discountpowerparts.com for $335 delivered in 2 days. I read somewhere that they may have gone up. They were great to deal with, very professional. I would even pay a little more to do business with them if it were me.
