2004 rear end stutter
Yeah, i've seen posts where someone was talking about a Harley/F150 Diff rear-end and someone else said --- got a PROBLEM THEN GO AHEAD and get a TT .........dah!!
And I was wondering what they were referring to. !!

Way back in 05 when I had a driveline vibration at 63 MPH one of the TSB fixes they performed was new clutch packs and a fluid/friction modifier change in the rear end. They ended up changing the drive shaft as well.
It's a case of trying the cheapest fix first. Back in '04, Ford filled the diffs with 75w90 oil. That worked fine for the open diffs but it caused a low speed shudder when turning from a stop with the limited slip diff. The fix under warranty was a new clutch pack and switching to 75w140 oil.
