Weird, that's pretty much the exact same deal I got on mine. I paid $20,995 with 34K on it. And I definately am glad I went used! Let somebody else pay for the "off-the-lot depreciation".

Remeber dealerships can always do better than MSRP guys look at your Invoice sticker with out all the addons my 04 fx4 listed for 36, 000 but the invoice started out at 27, 000 so thats what they sold it to me for they made their money on hold back. which was prolly aroudn 2, 000 in hold back its just like 4 wheelers. ever piece of vehical has a hold back price.

My numbers aren't BS. My company buys fleet vehicles from our local Ford dealer, so the dealer gave me a fleet price on my FX4. It isn't BS or magical.

Well, lets be fair here Curio.... If you got a fleet price you got a special discount that the vast majority of people on this forum cannot get. So maybe its not "BS" or "magical" but Mr. Joe Everyman won't be able to go to his dealership and expect to get the same kind of deal you did. A little more detail about how everyone got their low price might be helpful....

Yeah, I could have provided more info, but a lack of information on my part does not equal BS; but I do understand your skepticism. However, I have nothing to gain by lying about something so trivial; so you could have just asked me rather then jumping to a BS conclusion.

Oh, and BTW - I got an '04 model when the '05 was coming out; that also helped the price.

I got my '05 FX4 in December of 2005 and I had an x-plan as well...

Edit : Sticker was $38,470
With Z-plan (grandfather worked in a Ford factory for many years) came down to $32,409
Then rebates totaling $5,500

Total price for truck just under $27k.

If you call the Ford dealer and ask for the Fleet Manager, set up an appointment so you don't waste his time, pick out the truck you want ahead of time, just tell the salesmen that approach that your going through fleet, then ask the FM for his best price, I think you'll be real surprised how low he can go. And no you don't have to own your own business or be anybody special. I own a van and truck conversion business and I have sent my customers to fleet for 30 years and the price is always better than going through the front door. I bought my 06 Lariat for 28,000. It had a sticker of 36,000. Four local dealers gave me the same deal, I bought the one I wanted. They'll even get the factory invoice out to show you the prices. Hope this helps you get a deal. Works for cars too. Bill

I got such a good price because i did months of research, and found the truck i wanted (used) and also found it on the last day of the month. This is most important in buying a vehicle because they are trying to get rid of inventory and meet a certain "quota" the better numbers they get in that month the better they look and of course the last day of the month is the last chance to increase their numbers...

sticker on mine was 38,500. 06 fx4 super cab leather heated seats. no sunroof or shaker stereo, all other options.
38,500 - D-plan and 5500 in rebates = 27,000 - 10,000 down.
financed only 17,000.00
