What don't you guys like about the LT handle? I've been thinking about getting one.

My LT handle is great but if they didn't have the LT I'd go with the New Expy's shifter, it's leather and exactly like ours but longer. I'm sure it could work with manipulation like the LT's.

its not that i dont like the LT, its that i really like the billet that got dropped from production. Plus i have a system and my sub vibrates the cap from my current shifter and i dont see how the LT would be any different...

The cap on my shifter is vibrating out of control... does this cap pop off or does it have a clip that breaks if it is pulled off? Mainly what i am trying to do is to stop the rattle from it also plus my ashtray has a bad rattle has anyone else experienced this? if so how did you stop it, would love some feedback...

Run a VERY thin strip of JB weld along the inside lip of the chrome cap where it makes contact with the inside of the shifter column. Have a paper towel on hand to wipe any off that oozes out when you push the cap on. Hold this in place with your hand for 5 minutes or until it doesn't push up on it's own.

I did this and the jb weld has held pefectly in all conditions. It's seen weather below -45 here in MN winters and I'm sure it was 120+ inside the truck over the summer when it was 100 out.

Not only that but it's with stood tons of shifting.

Have you pulled out the ash tray insert? It may be that the actual ash tray is what is rattling around inside its holder.

Yea ive done this, ive pulled the whole cover off the dash and tightend up the bolts that hold the ashtray assembly in place, that wasnt the problem its the actual carbon fiber cover of the ashtray that vibrates against the dash plate... im sure many others with systems have noticed this vibration. it even vibrates on a moderately bumpy road.

The cap has 4 clips that break if it comes off. Pretty sure you cant just buy the cap either you have to get the whole top part of the handle. Figures..

can you send me some more pics of your exhaust? i wanna see how your tips are and everything.

im going to go a flowmaster 40, or a RollingBigPower muffler (as loud as a magnaflow but has the same tone as the flowmaster 40's)

my email is sixwon6814@yahoo.com if you want to send them on there instead of posting them.
