I am thinking of these rims. Anyone have them?

I have had a time trying to buy rims for my truck. I like these wonder if anyone had them on their truck?

Helo 804 Guns

I am leaning toward 35" tires and 17" rims. If I bought this rim which size would I need? I have not decided on tires yet. Something quiet, agressive and capable of 25-30k miles. The Toyo M/Ts look great but are very pricey. I have only owned 2 different kinds of tires, Thornberg and BFG AT. I would not want another set of thorns do to the noise and what not. BFG AT were great I just want a little more aggresive side wall. I know they make a mud tire. Suggestions?

I don't think they come in a 6-135 bolt pattern.

You are right! I wonder if F250 hub would fit a F150 Man I have really been looking. I don't like the styles many have I am kinda old school. This seemed kind of like a cross between. Now I either find away to make these fit or go for something like this.

I've been wrestling with rims for a while too, and I'm not a fan of all those nooks and crannies when it comes time to wash.

You guys know of any 8 lug axles w/8on170 setup. Is it as easy as swapping some heavy duty axles in when I do my gear swap?

It can be done, but anything can be done for a price.. You would be better off just trading trucks and getting an F250/350 rather than trying to swap out the axles. The rear end wouldn't be much of a problem, you might just have to move some brackets and them get a different U-joint to get everything to mate up. The front would be a PITA, since you would basically have to cut out all the IFS out and then make custom spring and shock mounts, or do something like a 4-link setup and try to use the stock coil buckets.

IMO, it wouldn't be worth doing just to get heavier axles and a rim style that you want.

Oh no my friend I would just have custom axles made in place of the stock ones. I really think it can't be that expensive!

I wouldn't use an adaptor. In addition to increasing wear and tear on your suspension components, they are gonna push the wheels/tires out, creating fitment problems. Also, since you have a 2005, some aftermarket 17 inch wheels may not fit your truck. I'd go with an 18 inch wheel to make sure. Also, as for tires, take a look at the Mickey Thompson Baja Radial ATZ and the Pro Comp Xtreme AT. Both of these are very aggressive looking all terrian tires.
