2.5 AS, Toyo MT 35's, and a bit of rubbin...

OK, several have asked, and yes it turns out I do have a bit of rubbing with the AS 2.5 kit and Toyo 35's...

I didn't see this this first week, which I also happened to be on vacation. Now I'm back at work and back parking in a pretty tight garage downtown, so I'm thinking the sharp turns in the garage is where I'm getting this from.

It doesn't appear to bad (or does it?), but this weekend I'm going to clean up the arms and do some circling in a large lot to see if I can determine when it's actually occuring, ie how far into a turn. At a glance today It looked like "side biters" or whatever they call the raised portions on the sidewalls, but will find out for sure when I check it out this weekend.

I know we have a few F150's on the board with the same combo, anybody else rubbin?

ah yes the 35" rub on stockers- i've got the same marks from my procomps- check your lower control arms too- on mine, it only marks on my right lower arm... you will know when you hit it--you really can't miss it--, as the wheel will turn in on the gaps between 'side biters' and will get a bumpy grindy sound/feel

its probably not good, but hey, i'll fix all that when i lift it eventually- J

I wouldn't sweat it. Minor rubbing is something you deal with when you run large tires.
