TBS or Exhaust work....?

Well I decided to do alittle more work on my truck. I would imagine I'll have both done by the end of the month, but which would you do first.....purchase and install a throttle body spacer, or purchase a flowmaster 40 series muffler and get some exhaust work done?

You're gonna love the "performance whistle" of the TBS. Flame time.

From what i have read on the boards. Do a search to double check me is the tbs is a waste of money no matter what engine you have.

Dude, if your going to get the TBS. . are you planning on getting the 'turbonator'? Don't do it, save your money for something worth while. Do the exhaust work and don't even think about the TBS.

What other mods do you have?

BTW. I just did the intake silencer 4.6L mod to a buddies F-150, and added a drop in K&N filter. He already ordered a throttle body spacer for it. I guess he will be disappointed with the results.

I had heard a few times that the TBS was a waste of time, but also heard it did aid with better gas mileage.

So I will look into the exhaust work first, and then maybe look at a mass air flow sensor. They claim a good hp gain with that, does anyone have experience with them?

Do you have a tuner? I'd go with the big three; tuner, exhaust, and an intake.
