Will this work?

I'm trading my truck in tomorrow. Right now I have after market wheels and 35 inch tires. On my truck I have the Fabtech kit plus the daystar spacer. What I was wondering is will my truck work with the factory wheels with 33s on them? Will it have rubbing or not? I'd like to keep my aftermarket wheels and 35s.

I'f you don't have any rubbing with 35's (larger tire) why would you have rubbing with 33's (smaller tire)??

Because i'm trading the vehicle in. I'd like to keep my pro comp wheels and tires and put my stock rims and 33s on.

OK but still: "I'f you don't have any rubbing with 35's (larger tire) why would you have rubbing with 33's (smaller tire)??"

aftermarket backspacing would make a difference, and if he had never tried larger tires on the stockers he wouldn't know--hence the question

you should be fine. people put 33s on stock trucks without a lift and they are fine. What are you going to trade it in for??

I was thinking the same thing. . hell, you could probally clear 37s on stock wheels.

Let me clarify my question. If i put the 33s on my truck with the stock rims would the backspacing be ok? I know the 33 tires would fit but would I get rubbing from the backspacing?

not neccisarily. when i was getting my pro comp put on (way back with 4 wheel parts) they said you couldnt drive it with the stockers on because the tie end rods would get in the way with the stock backspacing and all.
