And swing by any other board and you will find the same.

There is no need to be speechless...that should come when you find a manufactuer without any problems....and that won't happen.

I agree to an extent. Does anyone know if 'cars' are having this much difficulty? I've driven only SUVs and Trucks for quite some time...haven't had a car in awhile.

Oh, you're so right D... horrible. Horrible... in fact, how do we all survive in a world full of such junk?

You're marking yourself as a target on the boards here with commentation along the lines of what you continually contribute. Because of that, you're causing me to be more aware of where you post and the responses that you receive. Because of that, I'm more apt to close, delete, and dismiss.

All vehicles, no matter the make, model and/or color have problems. Most people don't post random threads about how wonderful they think their torque converter is performing. Nor do they go out of their way to make a statement along the lines of how much they love the foam in the bolster on their passenger seat. People use this type of forum to communicate problems often times. These problems will appear continual when scrolling through the forums' main list however; for every one or two bad posts that speak of negative connotations, there are countless numbers of 'us' here that haven't had a single problem of significance.

If you want to contribute to a solution rather than agging on the problem, please participate. If not, don't. The continual beating of the 'anti-ford' drum is starting to render a drone and a dreary resonance in my head that is about to push me over the edge. This is a FORD board. Remember that.

I went over 38,000 miles today. No significant problems, only a leaking brake light that was fixed under warranty.

THANK YOU...

Nothing sucks more than trying to log in and read about fun and interesting new mods, or new best times, or simply looking to learn about your passion (Ford trucks) and instead having to go through post after post of people knocking the very product THEY bought. Not only does it speaks volumes of the posters themselves, but it ruins it for others.

The Ford F Series trucks are, and have been the number one selling vehicle in America for 30 years. There are a CRAPLOAD of these trucks on the road. So you think that myabe, just maybe problems will surface? It's a numbers game. With as many trucks as Ford puts on the road, I am not surprised to see the issues here on the board. But we have to all take it with a grain of salt and realize a dissproportionate number of people who join do so because they have encountered what is a MINORITY (a problem) and are looking for help. Where as millions of other happy owners exist without ever having the need to join these forums.

It's a simple concept, really.

Thanks so much RP.. I was just about to light into him. I just got done reading the "is the f150 worth all the hype" thread, and then saw this one. Does this guy have any life, or does he just enjoy pissing people off.

I learned the hard way that things just break sometimes. That said, all manufactuers have problems in this arena. Warranties and good dealership service are vital to having a great vehicle ownership experience. I had an undiagnosed problem for 4 months that drove me to the point of extreme frustration, but once the problem to fixed... Hindsight being 20/20, I should not have posted (raggin on the Ford) the day that I broke, but crap happens. I learned the lesson of posting helpful, not harmful.
