I just got my Egde Evolution. I was wanting to check for updates but cannot get the Lightning USB Interface to "see" my Edge. When I open the program, at the bottom it says "Disconnected". I have installed and uninstalled 2 times. I have also restarted my computer but it still doesn't work.

I read the "ReadMe" text file. Here's what it step 1 says:
After installing the main program, do the following:
1. Click on Start, All Programs, Edge Products, USB Drivers, and finally Install USB Drivers.

When I go to "Edge Products" I don't have the "USB Drivers" in the drop down menu.

Do you guys have any advice or info. I already searched the forum for aabout an hour.

 

You must first download the Lightning software to your computer. then you hook up the Edge and use the Lightning software to download the updates to your Edge.

I had the same problem, I had to call and they walked me through it install. I had to do a search for a certain file and then click this then click that... something about my computer not recognizeing the software so it had to be done manually.

 

Thank you for the replies. It looks like I will need to call EDGE on Monday. I installed the edge and was able to load the factory programmed tune(level 2). The truck feels great
