Question Those with blowers- question

I know when you purchase a blower, you send them the PCM for reprogramming. What I would like to know is if you currently have the EDGE, can it still be used, like for modifing the tranny shifting? Or does it just become a simple gauge cluster?

on a related note, is there much point in getting both a edge and a aftermarket cam?

Not all blower packages provide tuning. Some mfgrs sell what is referred to as a tuner kit, and will include only the power head , brackets, hoses, etc.

brow - you would be better off with custom tuning if you start playing with cams. Many are using the Xcal2.

I got M.T. to re-tune my stock roush tune and it seems to help quite a bit, not to mention the lower 7-8psi pulley upgrade. The stock roush tune is for 91 octane and is quite boring, whereas the other tunes are maximized for the 93 I can get in NC and better trans shifts and higher rev points.
