2.5 AS Installed...
today, took a little over an hour, good to have a friend with the right tools, impact wrench, etc. Left side was about 45 minutes as we eased into it, and about 25 minutes on the other side. I say we, but mostly I stood there and watched
Previous front measurements were 36", now I'm at 39.25" so picked up 3.25 with the 2.5 kit. Alignment coming tomorrow morning and I expect it to drop a bit as others have posted, so I guess it will net out around 2.5/2.75 or so after it's all said and done. Hopefully after the alignment I can talk Ford into squeezing me in on a Sat to mount and balance my 35" Toyo MT's. Oddly enough, alot of shops around here won't do the 35's, ie Firestone, TK Performance, Goodyear, etc. Ford says they will so I guess I'll use them, since the tires are still sitting in thier parts dept anyway.
Of course with pleasure comes pain, I run over a screw coming home and am half flat by the time I pull in the driveway. So tack on almost an hour to change that dang tire, what a pita with the new height and crappy scissor style jack, but that's another thread
And I know, a post without pics is worthless, hope to have some later today or tomorrow...
