I just order a Retrax tonneau and now I am stuck waiting a couple days untill it is delivered. I was Just wondering if there is any modifications that need to be plastic bed rail covers for the metal clamps to be effective. I am installing this on an 06 flareside if this makes a difference.

Also is there anything else i should be aware of when installing?

You shouldn't have to do any modifications and there instructions are very thorough. After a couple weeks after I installed mine, I had to do some adjustments after it settled. I am sure you will be very happy with the cover.

 

you will love the cover. Id say the only thing is be patient when putting it on because more then likely you wont get it perfectly lined up the 1st time to open its smoothest. lol i know i didnt

I cant wait to get my cover, I ordered it yesterday and I have a 3 - 5 day wait for delivery. I have always been interested in these covers and after getting fed up having to spend 30mins and gallons of hot water to get my snap cover back on after everytime i took it off i decided to buy one.

I'm having the dealership install mine. I purchased it when I bought the truck yesterday, not sure when they will get it, but my Dad turned me onto this cover on my way to pick up my truck from the dealership.
