Here is a picture of my crappy hidden hitch.

I do like the look of the hitch in the above posts, however the look of the hidden hitch does not bother me.

To each his own though. That is why they make different hitches to choose from.

Damn you Brew. I have been looking for a hitch for my 06 STX but I was planning on holding off for a while. Now you have forced me to spend money.

I priced out the OEM hitch the other day at my dealer. HOLY CRAP!!! They wanted $435.00. This etrailer hitch is exactly what I was looking for.

Brew - Do you think I will have any problems installing the hitch with a Roush dual out the back system? Does the hitch look and feel beefy?

Thanks Brew.

Edit - I just pulled up the on-line instructions and I think it will be ok with the exhaust. I like how its mounts to the fram rails, nice and clean looking.

Yes mine hangs low but thats fine. The truck sits up high as it is. I just dont have to buy such a huge drop when I am towing my boat or trailer.

Here is a pic of mine. Its still alot better than alot of the aftermarket pics.

I dont have the dampner on this truck, but I did have it on my 04. I honestly don't think it will interfere with it at all. This hitch is pretty compact.

HAHAHA...good, finally I make someone else spend money. It's usually the other way around. I to, priced out the OEM hitch and even with a family discount, it was still way to much money. The OEM hitch mounts across the entire rear bumper, so to install it, the rear bumper has to come off. Plus its way to expensive, so forget that one. I'm sure you will not have any problems with the exhaust and this hitch. If you het the hidden hitch, you will, since it has a different type of mount. If I was going to put the Hidden Hitch on my truck, I was gonna have to take my exhaust down.Forget that ....

Sbull,,,that last picture is the hidden hitch.

Thats the hidden hitch, ordered from f150store.com. I suggest getting it elsewhere if you choose that one.

same here, but I'm not sure what is in the 'tow & go package". I like the tow&go discount of $1250, but besides the $350 tow package what would you loose if it didn't have tow&go?

The 5.4L V8 would be lost as well if you didn't have the "Tow & Go" package.
