Question Feeling the Windshield Wiper Motion when applying Gas or Break.......

I am not sure if anyone else has noticed this or not, but I live in Texas and have had my truck for about 3 months and have not had the chance to notice it until just this past weekend when it rained for the first time since I bought my truck. Whenever the wipers are running at a fairly good rate, I can feel the movement of them whenever I am pressing on the gas or brake pedal. It is almost like they are linked together or something. Now this may sound dumb to some, but I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this and if this is normal.

Thanks.
B.
PS - I love my truck!

Mine does it. No need to worry about it. The reason is this, the brake pedal, gas pedal, and windshield wiper motor are mounted on the firewall. The "thump" at the end of the wiper path is transmitted via the firewall to other components mounted on the firewall.

This issue, that I discovered about a week after I bought the truck, is what brought me here to F150online. I was told it's normal then too. Seems kinda hokey still though. The wiper motor and pedals are on the firewall of a myriad of makes and models. They don't all have this quirk. After Ford made a big deal about the special material used in the firewall ("Quiet Steel"), it even more dissappointing.

does it have anything to do with the size of the wipers? Those large wipers may cause additional "thump"

Just a thought
