I have been in Lemoore off and on during the last 10 years. I started on Tomcats in VF-84 then came to Lemoore in 96. Took VFA-27 to Japan and came back to Lemoore in 99 to stand up the Super Hornet in the Navy with VFA-122. Went back to Japan with VFA-102 in 03 and just got back this past Jan. I am instructor now. Super Hornets are just like the A-D models. Just a continual upgrade. There are a few tech reps here that were here in the mid 90's. Don Yeager I think is still around. He was the one I dealt with the most when I worked on Lot 12's. The tech reps that have been around a while mostly work with the A-D, Boeing has reps here for the Supers. I got to take a tour of the production line 4 years ago. Pretty impresive. I have a few pics in my gallery. Keith

How do you like those **** Cepeck tires? I thnink your the first one that i've seen with those tires on here. Have you thought about putting Fender flares on it. I think they would look good if painted to match the truck and the topper thingy really isnt my style but for some reason it works with your truck. I really like it.

Hello Professor,
I am searching for some good quality fender flares/extensions as we speak. Can you recommend any? I plan to paint them to match... I was not really crazy about the camper shell either but when my sons and I are on Cape Lookout National Seashore, NC and we are about 26 miles from the nearest cabin. We are able to crawl inside to get away from the elements. I also have a carpet kit installed back there with a power converter for small refrig. and DVD entertainment system. With the sliding rear window we are able to communicate to the front area. We also spend days fishing on the Cape and this little area is used for "Rest Breaks". I was not into camper shells either but this works and looks pretty good.
As for the **** Cepek Fun Country II's.... They are on the expensive side but gosh they ride great and are quiet. Plus they are High Milage rated. I will give wear data when I get more miles on them. Right now I am very pleased with these tires... Thanks to all for the compliments and suggestions!! BoB

300WBY.... The LEER shell is a model 100XL. The rear small windows open with a nice style wheel device. The head liner is a short style plush carpet. I had a nice carpet kit installed in the truck bed which includes speakers from the dash stereo system. A pwr. converter which runs a small DORM style refrigerator and a DVD entertainment/game system. I never thought much of the aftermarket shells but this one is called the cab high model and drops down over the factory molded bed rail which gives it a nice fit. The rear glass door is styled after the SUV market and has a very sturdy locking system. The interior has lighting which is tied into the truck wiring. I like it more each time we go to the Outer Banx... We usually stay 3-5 days and this truck fits our needs.

We rent cabins on the beach and have approx. 26 miles of surf and sand to traverse. So once we leave the cabin for a day of fishing you need to be able to take everything you need for a days outting... Thanks for the compliments!

BoB

Hello ChappyFX4.... Those are just the ones I've been looking for. I was trying to find these from bushwhacker... I was just not searching for the item by the right name. Thanks for the compliments and suggestion... I really enjoy my truck and this forum. I've meet some good people and I always find answers to my questions.

I'll post some pictures of the inside of the bed soon. we are going to OBX this weekend for three days. I hope to do some good fishing with my sons... BoB

Hello there ALLRSDUP and 4DABOAT.... ALLRSDUP your truck is awesome. It was actually my inspiration to do a suspension lift. I just did not go 6-8". I'm a little "Vertically Challenged" and I just needed a mild lift. I went with 4.5". I just think your truck is "Perfect".

4DABOAT... That ARE shell looks just like my LEER. Your truck looks very capable and the boat is awesome as well. I enjoyed viewing your gallery. Thanks again for the compliments..... BoB
