Center Shifter paint defect on FX4

I was cleaning my truck inside the other day and noticed a mark on the grey part of the concole shifter, i tried to clean if off and it didn't come, so i tried to scratch it off and I made the mark bigger. I ended up scratching off the sparkly silver grey paint in a few areas. Do you think this would be covered under warrenty? and is there a black leather one in the lariat that I could exchange it out for? thanks yall.

Can you be 100% sure you didn't put that mark there yourself? Then you make it worse trying to remove it and now warranty is supposed to fix it. Could be a tough sell.

Not trying to flame you but it sounds a little silly.

who cares if he put it there himself? let the bastards fix it. god knows they get away with denying people warranty claims all the time. what's the hurt it trying?
