Help on setup - need advice fast

So I picked up some new wheels and tires at the local tire shop and they received one rim and tire so I went to try it on to see what type of trimming I will need.
Wheel Specs: 18 X 9 with 4.5" BS (-12 mm offest)
Tire Spec: 325/60/18
My setup: I think a 2.5" level kit.

When turning the wheel it gets caught on the plastic fender flare a lot. I'm okay with trimming, but it looks like a lot to trim. So I figured that I probably dont have a 2.5" spacer based on a few posts of people with the same setup not having to trim very much. So I pulled out my strut assembly and measured the spacer. Here it is:

It's hard to tell, but its a 1.75" spacer. I don't know what brand it is but, based on Autospring specs, 1.75" spacer equates to a 2.5" lift. I have a hard time believing it because the height from ground to bottom of wheel well is only 38.5" and I have a lot of trimming to do.
Any suggestions?
1. Buy new 2.5" spacers and see what happens?
or
2. Just trim the plastic fender flare and accept defeat?

I had to do some trimming and have some pics in my gallery. I would trim the flare and put a screw in the bottom of it and see how it works. I don't believe you are going to get a taller spacer nor do you want anything taller... Just my 2 cents...

djh1121,
Yeah, my setup will pretty much be the same as yours. It looks like you did as much trimming as i will need to do (I still think I will need to do more). What screws did you use? Where did you get them?
