Lifts with skid plates?

Either way, I've been over some seriously devastating rocks (I was cringing to say the least), the crossmember is fine...the lower control arms are f'ing aluminum and are something to consider protecting as well. If you plan to crawl it's a good investment but my truck was a joke on rocks (doesn't help they were often wet). We have rediculously poor clearance issues and it makes even small rockbeds a serious challenge I'm sure 99% would back out of. The skid plate would have been damaged by now, it would probably make rocks more difficult but would protect your subframe (which you can argue is crucial to your susp. geometry). I don't know why I'm going into detail about this but it's probably because you're Joe!
