Has anyone tried putting the home link mirror in theur truck? I think that would be a really nice setup.

I believe Myst has put one in his truck. Search for him, and he has a website for all of his mods. It sounded pretty involved but very cool.

Here's his site http://members.***.net/kinzerford/F-150/F-150.html

I personally don't have the need for it. I got too much Crap in my garage.

I tried this mod but plastic panel is too thick for the bezel clip to hold it all together. How did you mount yours?

I mounted mine there too. You have to grind down that plastic panel from the backside of it. Use a dremel or some type of small bit grinder. Once you get it thin enough, then the homelink bezel will be able snap back on the homelink black box.

Finally got mine wired up. I mounted it right above where your left leg would be. At the bottom of that trim piece under the dash to the left of the OBDII port is a piece of metal with a hole in the center of it, no idea why it's there. I zipped tied the module to that piece of metal. I looked at other spots to mount it, but wanted something sort of hidden but also accessible with the door open so I can pop my soon to arrive Snuglid open. Not the most creative of spots, but it was simple, semi hidden, and serves its purpose.
