I have a 04 Fx4 SC and am doing the Harley pedal swap. The process should be pretty straight forward but I am concerned about the disconnecting of the gas power pedal (adj) assebmly. Whil I know there are three 10 mm bolts connecting the entire thing tothe firewall and the quick connect for the fly by wire, I am unsure how to disconnect the adj, connection.

Should I :

A} remove the three bolts that hold the pedal and electronics to the fire wall plate, thus eliminating my adj. issue or will it cause more.

B}disonnect it all at the fire wall easy as well,,just how to do the adj. pedal connectioon.

Just want to make sure a special tool is not needed. By the way I searched and all the pedals swaps I found were of people withoug the adj. pedals...so no big issue for them.
